...and the story a few years down the road for some would add, "highest paid sportsmen who went bankrupt"...

I have no problem with free market negotiated compensation packages for sports, or any other profession. But I believe those numbers are inflated in many cases because, at the end of the day, the checks don't always read the same at the contract announcements.

Even though he hasn't played like the Tiger of the past he is still a ratings mover. If Tiger is near the top the tournament is better to watch IMO. I think that is why he will always have great endorsement deals.
