7th October Incoming

OK saw the release of this last week and had to have it. A very simple implementation of the World Timer complication. Interesting that they added dead second function too.

I have wondered for many years why Jaeger isn't a more coveted brand. I have owned several over the years and really think they some amazing designs and movements.

Thanks everyone.

Sadly I was outbid yesterday on every piece so no more incomings imminent!

Personally I am ambivalent to the dead second feature but I understand that it is actually quite difficult to implement. No one has yet asked me if it is Quartz!!

I think the dead second would grow on me with time. I assume every other piece in your collection has sweeping seconds so its nice to have something different that stays in the realm of classic horology. (non-quartz)
I hope to grab one sometime this year, if it ever loses its charm let me know

Yes it is my only dead second piece. I get bored of watches quickly so I don't suppose I will keep it forever!

I love Jaeger. If they held their value better I would have a lot more!

Very nice Roger. Seems you are having a lot of fun with your collection and ignoring the numbers in interest of what grabs your attention. Refreshing for this hobby

Absolutely Tom. 2015 has been a year where I buy many brands and models that I have coveted for some time. Good old fashioned buying what I like!

Having ticked multiple boxes this year maybe 2016 will see me return to having a more traditional collection!!
