The 3130 is tha basic movement found in Explorers, Air-kings, ND Subs etc. The 3135 is essentially the same movement with a date function added, DateJusts, Day-Dates, Sub dates, SD, YM, etc. The 3186 adds a 4th hand GMT function.. The 4130 is their Daytona Chronograph movement and differs completely. You can't really say that one is better than the other... As for the Zenith........It's not really a Zenith drop-in movement..It's a Rolex 4030 movement and hasn't been produced for almost ten years.. It started life as a Zenith El-Primero ebauch (basic platform) Rolex adds their own mechanics to it, reducing it's speed down to 28,800 bph (from 36,000) and other refinements, so you can't just take an El-Primero out of a Zenith watch and drop it into a Daytona for a "Zenith Daytona"....it's not the same..

According to some articles the 4130 is rated the best but I guess that's subjective.

The "tests" watch magazines ran showed 4130 performed better overall BUT NO DIFFERENCE in ACCURACY ratings. I would get a "zenith" Daytona if the price becomes more reasonable.
