What dial is this

Can someone help me out. This dial looks too nice to be an original 1978 model 1680. It also looks like the 6’s are maybe closed with the h and c lining up. Would you agree? Your help is appreciated. 583338BB-536A-4A36-AACE-537019E1F988.jpeg

So it is for sure not a service dial? Was surprised not to see any patina. Except for the discolored date. I know what a fair price would be for one with a service dial, but not an all original. I really want a vintage, but at a fair price. Any thoughts on a price for me to offer him? Thanks

Yes it's a MarkII, look at the photo below, MkII on top and the service dial that most closely resembles it below. See the difference in the gap between the lines of and font style of the Superlative Chronometer text........and the Swiss T<25 touching the markers on service dial and with a gap on MkII........then compare to dial in your photo

Sorry I can't advise on US prices I'm afraid

Not all vintage Rolexes with tritium take on patina, and the lighting in photos can also be deceiving.

Here is my 5512 (3.7 mil.) in sunlight, where the tritium looks quite white, and another photo indoors in natural light, where the watch seems to have quite strong patina. It changes.

If you are thinking about making an offer, be aware that the bezel insert is not original.
