Oyster bracelet for 36mm Datejust
Hello all,
I’m a total novice with this stuff so hopefully someone can kindly help me out. I’ve got a datejust 36mm from 2005 (16220 Arabic numerals, Ivory Rolex monogram dial, jubilee bracelet), and I’m looking to put on a oyster strap. Other than buying a real one for 1k+ on eBay, can anyone suggest one that would come closest to the current oyster bracelets. Thanks! |

I would not put a non Rolex bracelet on a Rolex. Get the real thing and never look back and do not ending up buying both as the non OEM product looks bad.

oyster
Order a Oriental version from eBay. Some are quite exact. Wear it for a week or so and see how you like the look. Then make your decision. Yes or no, your only out a few $$$.

Think if you look around and are patient can find a genuine Oyster band for less than $1k for your DJ

Thanks for the replies guys.
Seems they only have leather for the 36mm DJs on Everest straps :/ I wouldn’t be looking to spend 1k for a genuine one. It’s more for a bit of a change as the current jubilee is too formal for my style and I’m covered for formal with a 5130j. So really I was trying to style the DJ down... I’m not bothered to have an aftermarket one that goes %90 of the way, just thought there would at least be one “good” brand everyone went to as Rolex seem to be so difficult with their replacement straps. |

Thanks for the recommendations guys. Seems finding a good aftermarket one is way harder than I thought.
In the mean time, the jubilee is stating to look again after a deep clean. |
