126660 Deepsea Dblue average wait time
Dear friends,
I know that situation can change based on country and relationship with AD but what is the current wait time you experienced for deepsea with the Cameron dial? Thanks Ciao |

9 months and still waiting for mine here in UK. Have good sales record with AD. Was fortunate to get a BLNR in less time. Patience is the beat solution.

Not a Deep Sea, but I am waiting on as SD43 here in Pennsylvania, over 4 months now. AD says "I can get it" but cannot give me a timeframe. He's not stringing me along, I have a small purchase history, and I believe him.
Ask me in another 6 months, LOL! |

An AD i trust here in the uk said its the model they have received the least pieces of in the last few years. Seems very tough to obtain in the uk but you hear people having much more success elsewhere.

A year ago ago I put my name on a list for a JC DSSD with Rolex by Wempe in NYC (no history with them) and got the call couple months later (didn’t pick it up as I decided to go in different direction).
I changed my mind to a black one in the meantime and two weeks ago went on a tour of a few ADs in NJ (no history with any of them either). One actually just happened to have both versions in stock in the back (see my Incoming thread), and I walked out with the black one. So they are available, but sometimes you have to wait a little. But they’re by far the easiest SS sport Rolex to get at MSRP. |

I have been waiting for about a year, even though I am next on the list.
Spoke to the AD last week and they said it should be within 2-3 months and I am first on the list. |

Typically a big chain AD like WOS receive 2 d blues per year and 6 black versions
Smaller independent establishments typically get 1 d blue per year and 4 black versions. Smaller dealers are able to barter allocation based on selling performance of non allocation pieces. WOS run central allocation from their Leicester HQ. D blue is a lovely piece and a future collectible, albeit I prefer they d-black Ps:I’m lucky to have both, one of the most comfortable watches ever worn. |

Not helpful I’m afraid, but I waited 1 second.
Let me explain. I was first in line to the grand opening of a new boutique. There was a line by the time they opened, so one of the SAs came outside and asked the first three in line what we wanted. As I was first, I said, “White dial Daytona 116500”, “Sorry, we don’t have any SS Daytonas”. “Ok, how about GMT Master II 126710 BLRO”. “We had one, but it got allocated to the headquarters up north.” “Ok, how about SS Skydweller in blue dial”. “Nope”. “LV Sub - HULK”. “Sorry”. “Ok, you have a big display for the DeepSea D-Blue, so how about that one?”. “Yes, we have one of those.” “Ok, I’ll take it.” “Please sit here, the store manager will bring it to you.” That’s how I got the DSSD D-Blue in 1 second. I waited a year for mine. The AD said they only get one D-blue a year. It's my most comfortable and favorite Rolex.

I have been waiting for years now, all the ADs I've spoken to, some even outside my home country all keep saying they get 1 a year.

I bought mine last year (2020) in the US and waited about 15 hours -- asked for it at about 8pm and it was available at 11am the next morning. I knew the AD/sales rep but had never bought anything from them.
Last month, I was in Wempe in NYC and asked the sales rep, "If someone walked in off the street and wanted to buy a 12666o JC, how long would they have to wait?" His answer was, "Right now about 3 months." |

I waited 9 months for mine, and the Covid flight ban stopping overseas tourists buying up the hot pieces helped.

Two months ago while in my AD checking on the Exp.II Polar I had been waiting on , I just brought up if they get a D-Blue I’ll take that first . My SA told me to have a seat in the lounge and brought out the D-Blue in the coffin . I said let’s size this thing and get it done . Now waiting on 50th anniversary Polar (but that black dial with the WG hands looks amazing).

Got my 136660 JC about 2 months after asking for it from my NYC AD. It's a great and comfortable watch. Now, I am on the list for BLRO and Daytona 6 months so far.

About 3 years for me.... Seems as though prices have come down though and grey dealers are paying below retail...

Got my brand new DSSD D-blue 136660 last Monday, went grey. Got it 13% under RSP. In parallel I was on the waiting list for it with my AD since May23. Back in May23, the AD told me waiting time will be around 4 years. When I called my AD this week to remove me from the waiting list he told me, that he re-calculated the waiting time and he could get me the D-blue in 3 months. I kindly rejected and ordered a DJ41 Wimbledon instead.
