2 tone black sub or SS sub date
Ok, looking to increase my collection and have narrowed down to these 2 watches ( I think ! ) and will be looking to buy 2021 models Grey.
The cost above retail is less on the 2 tone and I don't think I will ever sell which ever I purchase but not sure which way to go, Any thoughts from anyone Ive given up trying to obtain through AD's its just too much stress |

Maybe redundant, but I like 5he TT SD43 a little better than the TT black Sub. Bluesy is a beauty too. Tough decision for sure.

Driving me mad, had the Blue as the 'next one' but think its too blue and too showy, I like under stated watches but think the SS sub is a little too plain and as a have SD43 in steel I really don't want the same model and want something different, looked at GMT's but as they don't have glide lock have crossed them off the list ... I only wear sports watch so those models not doing it for me. but as I type this could be interested in a Yacht Master

I know you said that you wouldn’t sell your watches, but to give another option:
1) sell your SD43 2) buy a SD43 two-tone (if the SD43 fits you, I think that this is a great watch and the gold lettering is fantastic) 3) buy a no-date Sub41 You mentioned that the blueesy is too blue/flashy. But if you want to have some difference between the two watches, the above might be a bit easier to do via an AD or even a reseller. If you do go the yacht master route, which one would you look at? The SD43 is a bit big for me IMO, so the YM40 fits great (I have a sub41date which I love though). Have you tried on the YM40? Super comfy! But it’s smaller than your SD43 of course. |

I have both subs and would recommend a TT black dial to compliment the SS model you have.

The TT adds a bit of a color pop and since you already have an SD43 …

Is the SD43 still going to be your 'go to' watch?

The answer, when ever an option is TT, is not TT...

I always love TT timepieces, it looks better than SS.
You already have many timepieces, if you love TT and don’t plan to sell, you can go on the waitlist at your boutique/AD, no need to go grey, it isn’t that hard to get.

As it happens I have contemplated trying to add the SS as a daily in place of my Sub I think it would be good to have the same piece in both SS & TT.
