My favorite VC sports watches: 222 and 2000v

One clearly inspired by the other and although over 40 years separates them, both powered by the same legendary JLC 920 movement that has also powered the 5402 and 3700.

The 2000v is one of the very rarest luxury sports watches produces by the holy trinity, less than 100 in total. A great piece I am very happy to have in my collection.

Love the 2000v although I usually would want a date.

4500V prices have since hit the stratosphere, but they would have gone interstellar if VC had made an Overseas in steel according to the specs of the 2000V.

With that said, at the time we were all thinking that the asking price of the 2000V was too much. Who's laughing now?

Very nice! The 2000V was the one that got me looking into watches a few years ago. Perfect size, ultra thin, no date.

I even emailed VC asking to buy that, thinking it is readily available!
It was a rude awakening for me, haha.

Pretty watches, especially the 222, but I consider the inspiration part a stretch given how different the modern Overseas design is from the OG.

Both iconic. What’s the WR in the 2000V? Anything over 100 ashes it’s the Sailor perfect everyday watch.

The 2000V is what the 4500 should have been. No date, better size. Amazing piece.

It’s only 50m…not great.
