Icon4 whats my options for a 1967 vintage purchase

im looking (just looking at the moment due to cash flow issues) to get a 1967 rolex or tudor
i see loads from sellers in the US on ebay but thats it really not many that are looking good in the UK
i want one i can wear on a leather strap as opposed to a bracelet but that wouldnt be a deal clincher as the year of manufacture would be important
the biggest problem i have is that i would only have around £1500 (british pounds) there are some about on ebay at that money but i would rather buy from someone who is trusted and can be trusted not to lift my leg

please guys this is not a thread asking what you have for sale its a confused member asking whats available in the real world

thanks guys

p.s.
any pictures of vintage in my price range would be appreciated

A 1967 vintage DateJust, Air King, Date, Oyster Perpetual, maybe Turn-O-Graph might be in your price range.

What are you looking for? A sport model? Something dressier?

I think these are the best bang for the buck these days.Especially for a 1967 watch. With enough patience I think you can find 1 in your price range.I have seen even on fleabay recently a few that sold under 3k with a recent service.
