Incoming First Patek Philippe 5230G World Time

First Patek Philippe 5230G White Gold World Time (had to consolidate the collection a little to afford it), absolutely amazing piece.

Congratulations on this excellent piece.
When it comes to world timers, PP is tops in design and execution.

Congratulations!

PP WTs are so special, well executed, clever in design and « usability »! The 240 adds a lot of enjoyment when you look at the back of your watch.

Plus, you have the Hong Kong version: well done! :)

Thank you. I was trying to find some information on Hong Kong on the dial. Did that change on the 5230? I know the previous gen had Beijing

Congratulations! Fantastic watch. I love my world time (5130P).

The current 5230 has Beijing. There is older 5230 stock that is HK. And the previous gen 5130 also has HK.

Hong Kong was changed to Beijing on the « second » series 5230.

There are other adjustments that happened when the 5230/5930 came out (Moscow moved from the previous GMT zone).

You can find some here https://www.hightime-reviews.com/pat...-and-pictures/. Indeed there was a change during the 5230's life (same with 5930).
