Oysterflex/Rubber strap question

I have an issue with rubber straps. First off, I LOVE how they look but here is my issue. I have not owned and Oysterflex but I do have a Omega Aqua Terra with the factory rubber strap. The problem is Sweating! It makes my wrist sweat. I always here people wearing rubber strap watches for summer time, but my metal bracelets breath MUCH better.
The Omega strap is designed where it is "slightly vented" and I see the OF has a design for the same purpose. Does the OF work better than the Omega? How about the others like Rubber B? Any input on this?

I’m interested in this topic, too. For me, bracelets are tough to beat in the summer. I don’t like rubber and especially leather straps in the summer. But I’d eventually like to get a Daytona on OF someday…

I would take rubber over leather for the summer time, I would still sweat but at least not ruin the leather...

I enjoy both OF and leather on Daytona’s. Find both equally comfortable. Not a big sweater, so not an issue. Especially if watches get switched up.

I have a WG Daytona on OF. The Oysterflex is very comfortable in all seasons and is more comfortable than my DSSD JC SS bracelet.

OF is neat & IMO superior to any rubber that Omega makes solely because it has that "ventilation channel." It works as described. Unless I'm spending every single day in the water (ocean/pool), which is quite rare, if not downright improbable, I'll choose a cloth-based alternative over rubber.

NATO straps for summer are nice (not nice for the office, if you work in that kinda place). Sailcloth, perlon, Cordura, canvas, etc. are all comfortable & should be considered against rubber for the summer.

From my personal experience:
RubberB is NOT that comfortable being worn as a Tang buckle - But a bit more comfy as a deployment with the Rolex chamber deployment.
The Everest vulcanized rubber strap, with a tang buckle is a much better fit ( I just got it a few weeks ago for an old 2 line Sub and another one for a really old 1980’s YG Daytona)…..
Hope this helps-
Good Luck!
